For the last ten years Kids Haven has hosted semi-annual consignment sales in Warrenton, VA to help parents sell the clothing, toys and equipment their children have outgrown and replace them with new or nearly new items at unbelievable savings! These seasonal sales have become so popular in Warrenton that Kids Haven is now considering franchising additional sales. Today, Kids Haven took the first step toward that goal by launching a new web site that will be able to accommodate new Kids Haven franchises in other locations.

Many families are looking for ways to stretch their budgets. Kids Haven Consignment Store is the “economic elastic that allows them to stretch their money to get what their kids need,” said business owner and event organizer Angela Sain. Sain launched Kids Haven in 2001 when her oldest child was a toddler. “I realized how expensive it was to clothe my daughter and buy everything that she needed — and then she'd outgrow it in six months,” Sain said. “I thought, this is crazy. There has to be a better way." Savings Haven
Angela Sain, the founder of Kids Haven, said that the shop should appeal to parents with young children especially. "It's all babies, kids and maternity, even up through junior clothing," she stated. "It's pretty much anything and everything for kids." Sain started Kids Haven in 2001. "I was a stay-at-home mom," she explained, "and I have three girls, and I've always shopped consignment shops. Then we moved to Culpeper, and there weren't any down there, so I thought, 'Why not take that idea and do it myself, twice a year?"
